Mount Tremper is a hamlet in the Town of Shandaken in Ulster County, New York, United States. Mount Tremper is situated to the east of New York State Route 28 and to the north of New York State Route 212 within the Catskill Park. The community is located at . It is named for nearby Mount Tremper.

This small hamlet boasts all season lodging establishments and eclectic dining opportunities. Three businesses have each thrived for over 25 years: Tiso's Trattoria is a family owned Italian eatery founded by Joseph and Sue Tiso, now operated by son Joe with wife Margie; (La Dutchesse Anne ) is a French Bistro and hotel operated by Fabrice Vittoz and owned by Martine Baum who was the original proprietor with her husband Bruce; (Catskill Rose Lodging and Dining ) has modern rooms with amenties and seasonal spirited menu often using produce from the kitchen garden from chefs and proprietors, husband and wife team of Peter DiSclafani and Rose-Marie Dorn. Two relative newcomers: the (Emerson Spa Resort ) boasts the Phoenix and the Catamount restaurants owned by Emily Fisher and managed by Naomi Umhey, offering full service spa treatments, fitness room and other amentiies; (Kate's Lazy Meadow ), a motel owned by Kate Pierson, one of the founding members of The B-52s. A favorite of wedding parties, Mount Tremper lodging combined can accommodate over 150 people.
